From several locations; #1 quartz arrowhead

The piece in the middle is a slate drill used for starting fires as well as making holes in basket material and clothing. The quartz arrowhead (1) was found on one of the beaches south of Gull Island at low water along the spine of ledges that are exposed at those times. # 2 was purchased in Wiscasset and came from coastal Maine. The rest are from the Chesuncook area and appear elsewhere in this photo collection.
