Digital Story Telling Workshops

This workshop can be held at your school. Contact me

Your students can show the world what they have learned using their Airs or iPads. It doesn’t matter what the subject matter is. Using iPads and Macbooks in these workshops, you will be able to design, implement and evaluate the quality of video presentations your students are capable of doing.  These workshops are intended for K-12 teachers in any discipline. These workshops are aligned with Common Core standards for Digital Literacy such as Presentation of Knowledge and Ideas(SL8.5).

Morning Session:  Bring your Macbook Air (or Pro) along with an iPad. Using the iPad as a camera, you will learn filming techniques and will film a story you have designed from the pitch to the storyboard to the final exported movie. (Must have iMovie app on the iPad)

Afternoon Session:  Become skillful on editing with iMovie on the iPad using your “film” clips from the morning session.

Learn basic film terms, use story boards, practice techniques and create a project that can be used with your students right away!

See how you can organize your own “Short-Short film Oscars.”

You’ll be able to create several different types of digital stories, and your students will really like the experience.

Please contact me for available dates.
